About Lucinda

Legal success in a range of situations.

Lucinda brings to her work the precision of her scientific background. She has considerable experience of High Court litigation, where she has achieved consistent success in complex cases where finance and attention to detail are involved.

Lucinda is an accomplished conveyancer who can make your purchase or sale, whether of a house or an office, go smoothly. Although the laws on conveyancing may keep changing and the market has its own difficulties, Lucinda will help you to get the deal done.

Recent changes in legislation surrounding residential tenancies have led to innumerable problems for landlords who wish to collect unpaid rents, to sell their properties or even to simply implement a rent increase. Lucinda has made this a specialty area in which she has an unusual level of experience in acting for landlords against uncooperative tenants. Lucinda appears regularly before the Residential Tenancies Board where she has enjoyed consistent success.

Lucinda’s primary degree was in Science, in Trinity College, where she gained a Bachelor of Arts in Genetics. Having first carried out scientific research in Salt Lake City, Utah, she returned to Ireland where she gained a Higher Diploma in Business Studies at the Smurfit School of Business of University College Dublin.

After that, she went on to study law at Griffith College and Blackhall Place. Lucinda qualified as a solicitor in 2006. She has also a Diploma in Property Tax and a Certificate in Mediation from the Law Society. Lucinda is also qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and is a Notary Public.

Lucinda’s recent successes include:

  • Securing a High Court judgment for €1.2 million against a reluctant debtor.
  • Obtaining the sale through the Courts of the properties of a judgment debtor who refused to pay the amount of the judgment.
  • Securing orders from the Residential Tenancies Board for rent increases for landlords and for the ejectment of unco-operative tenants.

In her spare time, Lucinda has an interest in flying small aircraft. She has flown light aircraft both at home and internationally.

Lucinda has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and aspires to climb Mount Everest one day!
